Apple unveiled today a new pro line for iPhone: iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max for users who want the very best of smartphone. Both devices come with the new Super Retina XDR display and the most powerful Apple-designed A13 Bionic chip. The triple camera setup at the back provides a professional level camera experience with huge improvements to low-light photography. The video quality is top-notch with the Ultra Wide, Wide and Telephoto camera combination.
As expected, the phones also come with the A13 bionic chip dubbed by Apple as the fastest chip ever in a smartphone. This provides unparalleled performance and built for machine learning. It features a faster Nueral Engine for real-time photo and video analysis, and new Machine Learning Accelerators that allow the CPU to deliver more than 1 trillion operations per second with power efficiency that helps provide the phones great all-day battery. The iPhone 11 Pro provides four more hours of battery life in a day than iPhone XS, while iPhone 11 Pro Max lasts to five hours more than iPhone XS Max.
The triple-camera system provides a pro-level camera experience which allows users to capture the highest quality of video ever in a smartphone. The new Ultra Wide, Wide and Telephoto cameras can shoot 4K video with extended dynamic range and cinematic video stabilization. The Ultra Wide camera comes with a wider field of view and large focal plane for exciting action videos with a dynamic sound. Users will also be able to edit their videos as iOS 13 will come with a powerful editing tools right within the new Camera interface. Adjustments such as the ability to rotate, crop, increase exposure and apply filters to videos can be done instantly due to the tight integration between the hardware and the software.
Users who like taking Portrait photos will love the triple-camera system as it will let them choose Wide and Telephoto framing for a wider field of view, great for taking portraits shots of multiple people. Apple also claims that the Telephoto lens can capture 40 percent more light compared to iPhone Xs.
The new true-depth camera now comes with a 12 MP camera with a wider field of view for selfies and features the next-genration Smart HDR for a more natural-looking photos. It can also shoot 4K videos at up to 60 fps and 120 fps slo-mo.
iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models in midnight green, space gray, silver and gold starting at $999 and $1,099, respectively.
