iPhone 11, the successor to last year’s iPhone XR, comes in new colors and features the fastest, most powerful chip ever in a smartphone device with an all-new dual-camera system.
The A13 Bionic chip is touted by Apple as the fastest CPU with the fastest GPU in a smartphone ever. It’s built with a faster Neural Engine for real-time photo and video analysis and new Machine Learning Accelerators that allow the CPU to deliver more than 1 trillion operations per second. It’s the perfect combo with iOS 13 for machine learning in a smartphone with power efficiency that allows an all-day battery life.
All-New Dual-Camera System
iPhone 11 comes with an Ultra Wide and Wide camera setup. The device is expected to provide the best camera experience. Both support 4K video with extended dynamic range and cinematic video stabilization. The Ultra Wide camera has a wider field of view and large focal plane for detailed action videos in Ultra Wide mode.
Users can easily zoom between each camera with an audio that matches the video framing for a dynamic sound. iOS 13 which will be available for download on September 19 also comes with a new Camera interface that allows everyone to rotate, crop, increase exposure and apply filters to videos instantly.
“iPhone 11 is the next generation of iPhone, packed with great new capabilities in an incredible design, including new Ultra Wide and Wide cameras for gorgeous videos and photos, the power and ease of use of iOS 13, and A13 Bionic — the fastest chip ever in a smartphone that quickly handles the tasks that matter most to people every day,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s
senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “With the tight integration between hardware, software and services, the advancements in iPhone 11 bring an unparalleled user experience at an affordable price to even more customers. We think people will love it.”
